If you’re a good listener with some awareness of mental health, this opportunity is for you. You’ll support persons on their recovery journey — not as a therapist, but as a steady companion. Don’t worry, training is provided, and SAMH staff are there to step in when needed.

Community allies meet weekly/monthly informally with persons who have experienced interpersonal relationship harm to have a meal, to take a walk, or do a sporting activity. The goal is to reduce sense of isolation and to allow them to reconnect with self and others through affinity, kindness, and friendship with a community.

Together, you'll act as a guide to navigate challenges using structured materials through 10 carefully crafted business modules, guided reflection and follow-ups. Your business wisdom paired with her innovative spirit will create a powerful opportunity.

If you have business experience and enjoy mentoring others one-on-one, this opportunity lets you walk alongside a woman entrepreneur as she grows her business. You’ll receive training and resources and support her between sessions through WhatsApp check-ins. Training and onboarding takes place in the first month.

Walk with a team of volunteers who come together to fight misinformation and scams. CheckMate has built a system where users can forward in dubious messages, screenshots or images to a WhatsApp number, and receive a reply as to whether the message is trustworthy or otherwise. This system is powered by ML algorithms and the Checkmate network of volunteer checkers through crowdsourcing.

Each week, you’ll guide small groups of Primary 1 to Secondary 3 students from low-income or single-parent families — helping them close learning gaps, build confidence, and feel supported through free tuition and enrichment programmes.
